Blind panic has arrived. It decided to settle sometime this morning and hasn't left yet. The reason- our upcoming international trip. I decided that since everything takes at least 3x as long with baby, I had better get started. I began by doing some research on what I can and can't bring etc...This turned into reading reviews of Northwest's child policy. All I can say is UGH!
It looks like I am going to have to check the car seat/ pram base that I will be taking over as one of my pieces of luggage as it is considered a large stroller. I don't actually mind that as it would be easier to navigate the airport with just baby in the sling and our carry on. However, how on earth am I going to get all of our stuff in? So I will only be wearing one shirt the ENTIRE month. Ellis is getting to the stage where he will be needing to move up a clothes size, so I was going to get stuff in the US anyway. I guess we just won't be bringing it back!
The flight is likely to be FULL so no hope of an extra seat.
Ellis still hasn't settled. I am just begging, praying, hoping, wishing he will sleep. Apparently one is NOT to try and sedate the baby with anything as it often has the opposit effect! Its likely the entire flight will try and kill us.
All I can hope is that some person takes pity on us and saves us from the angry mob.
