I think that I am getting to the stage where I have to accept that Ellis' screaming may not just be a mood and is a part of his nature. While we'd had a good couple of days of limited screaming, today was horrific. He basically screamed all day when he wasn't asleep. I was able to quiet him this morning for awhile in the sling, but this afternoon he screamed for a least an hour after his feed. He also has screamed on and off this evening. Here's what I don't understand, he brings up gas well, so that can't be it. He is in a sling or being held nearly all day or night. He eats well and gets plenty of sleep at night. He is gaining weight. He doesn't draw his legs up in pain. What is wrong? I suppose it could be caffeine...I did have coffee this afternoon??? I also had cheese this afternoon, maybe he is lactose intolerant? Needless to say, I am feeling a wee bit sorry for myself today...I had hoped we'd had our share of issues with the feeding. I know it will pass, but I am getting tired.
