All is pretty much right in the world today. Ellis is eating like a horse. The sun is shining. Now, I knew getting into this that babies are a lot of work. However, our household started from a rather high-maintanence starting point. The dog, the cat, the untidy human residents who hate messiness...adding baby to the mix has certainly hasn't helped the state of the house. I am trying to keep on top of everything that needs to be done, but it is an uphill struggle. Laundry is our worst problem. Its not the washing or drying that catches us up, its the putting away! To aid me in my battle is my handy sling. Ellis has started fussing a bit more than he had been and he screams when put down--particularly in the afternoon. I have been just throwing him in the sling and he is as happy as larry and i can get things done. Kevin even took him last night to the polling station to vote in his sling--getting loads of attention all the while! Why is it when a dad takes baby, they get loads of praise about what a good, hands on father they are, but when mothers care for babies they get ignored. Anyway, mister is waking up to eat, so I must be off.
